On October 23rd, a little more than a week before winning the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I) to bring his unbeaten record to a perfect 5-for-5, Nyquist turned in an easy five-furlong workout in between races at Santa Anita, getting the distance in 1:02.09 seconds while easily out-running stablemate Semper Fortis.
