As he continues to train toward the third start of his career, Cozmic One–the first foal out of 2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta–breezed five furlongs in an easy 1:04.66 on September 10th at Saratoga.

Trained by John Shirreffs, the son of Bernardini has not run since finishing seventh in a maiden special weight at Belmont Park on July 8th. Since then, Cozmic One has turned in five workouts, including five furlongs in 1:00.80 at Saratoga on September 2nd.

With the time between his workouts steadily decreasing, it seems likely that Cozmic One will race again soon, probably during the Belmont fall meeting that begins on September 11th.
