Stellar Wind Draws Post 12 in Kentucky Oaks

Santa Anita Oaks (gr. I) winner Stellar Wind has drawn post 12 in the 141st running of the Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) and has been installed as the morning line favorite at odds of 7-2.

Trained by John Sadler for Hronis Racing, the daughter of Curlin will face a full field in the Kentucky Oaks, with her primary challengers including Gazelle Stakes (gr. II) winner Condo Commando, Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II) winner I’m a Chatterbox, and Ashland Stakes (gr. I) winner Lovely Maria. The latter two fillies are trained by Larry Jones, who will be seeking his third win in the Oaks following victories by Proud Spell (2008) and Believe You Can (2012.)
