Mor Spirit Gallops at Churchill Downs

Santa Anita Derby (gr. I) and runner-up Mor Spirit arrived at Churchill Downs on April 22nd and galloped over the main track on April 24th.

Trained by Bob Baffert, Mor Spirit went at a modest pace while staying well off the rail. It was a very easy exercise, which was not surprising given that Mor Spirit only recently arrived from California and worked five furlongs with a long gallop-out on April 21st (click here for details.)

Mor Spirit is staying in Barn 33 at Churchill Downs, the same barn where 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah stayed prior to his win in the Kentucky Derby.
