Jacks Hobbs Draws Post 2 in Irish Derby

Investec Derby (Eng-I) runner-up Jack Hobbs will face seven rivals when he starts as the heavy favorite in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby (Ire-I) on June 27th at the Curragh.

Trained by John Gosden, Jack Hobbs will be ridden by William Buick and will start from post two in the 1 1/2-mile classic. His main challengers include Investec Oaks (Eng-I) winner Qualify and her stablemates Highland Reel (runner-up in the group I Prix du Jockey Club) and Giovanni Canaletto (fourth in the Investec Derby), as well as Storm the Stars, a listed stakes winner that ran third in the Investec Derby.
