Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) contender Frosted, coming off of a decisive victory in the September 29th Pennsylvania Derby (gr. II) at Parx Racing, breezed five furlongs over the all-weather track at the Greentree Training Center on October 16th.

Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, the son of Tapit went the distance in a rapid :59 flat while traveling clockwise around the track, the opposite direction of typical counter-clockwise workouts that mimic actual races in the United States.

Through the majority of the workout, Frosted raced to the inside of stablemate Elmutahid, who did not receive an official workout time and who did not keep up with Frosted in the latter stages of the workout.
