Six years ago this week, the legendary Zenyatta came back from retirement to win the Santa Margarita Stakes (gr. I) at Santa Anita, the first race of a 2010 campaign that saw her break records and extend her winning streak to nineteen consecutive races before finishing second by a heartbreaking head in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr.
