Field Comes Into Focus for Irish Derby

The field for the June 27th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby (Ire-I) at the Curragh came into sharper focus on Tuesday, the last stage of entry before final entries and post positions on drawn on Thursday.

The 12-furlong Irish classic is expected to feature a very strong field led by Investec Derby (Eng-I) runner-up Jack Hobbs and Investec Oaks (Eng-I) winner Qualify, as well as Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas (Ire-I) Pleascach and Prix du Jockey Club (Fr-I) runner-up Highland Reel.
