American Pharoah Draws Post 4 in Haskell Invitational

American Pharoah has drawn post four in a field of eight for the August 2nd Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park, which will mark the colt’s first start since winning the June 5th Belmont Stakes (gr. I) to complete a sweep of the Triple Crown.

Trained by Bob Baffert, American Pharoah has been made the 1-5 morning line favorite, with Florida Derby (gr. I) runner-up Upstart the second choice at 6-1. Trainer Todd Pletcher has entered three colts, led by Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) winner Competitive Edge.
