2016 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint Post Positions

As usual, a large and competitive field of fourteen horses will contest the $1,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (gr. I) on November 5th at Santa Anita, including defending champion Mongolian Saturday.

The six-year-old gelding, who enters off a win in the Woodford Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland, drew post position three and will face a deep field of rivals that includes A Lot, runner-up in the Fourstardave Handicap (gr. I) at Saratoga, and Celestine, winner of the Just a Game Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park.
