2016 Breeders’ Cup Turf Pre-Entries

Two years after finishing a close second in the 2014 Breeders’ Cup Turf (gr. I), Flintshire will return to Santa Anita for a second chance at the $3,000,000 race.

The star runner, who has traveled the globe winning and placing in some of the world’s greatest races, has been joined in the pre-entries by the multiple Group 1 winner and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (Fr-I) runner-up Highland Reel. Arc winner and defending Breeders’ Cup Turf champion Found has been pre-entered as well, although she has been cross-entered in the Breeders’ Cup Classic and has first preference in that race.
