2016 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Pre-Entries

A deep and competitive field has been pre-entered in the $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I), including the grade I winners Classic Empire (Breeders’ Futurity), Gormley (FrontRunner Stakes), Klimt (Del Mar Futurity), and Practical Joke (Hopeful Stakes and Champagne Stakes).

Good Samaritan, who is 2-for-2 on turf with a win in the Summer Stakes (gr. II) on his record, has been pre-entered in both the Juvenile and the Juvenile Turf, with his first preference being in the Juvenile. The complete list of pre-entries is as follows:
