Trainer Chad Brown has won three of the last four editions of the $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. I), and he could very well win a fourth when he sends out Lady Eli and Sea Calisi in the November 5th race at Santa Anita.

Lady Eli, who won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. I) in 2014, will enter the Filly & Mare Turf off a win in the Flower Bowl Stakes (gr. I) and could start as the favorite. Her stablemate Sea Calisi, third in the Flower Bowl, won the Beverly D. Stakes (gr. I) earlier this year and should have a strong chance in the Filly & Mare Turf.

The complete field for the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf is as follows:

Sea Calisi, Florent Geroux
Catch a Glimpse, Javier Castellano
Seventh Heaven, Ryan Moore
Avenge, Flavien Prat
Al’s Gal, Jose Ortiz
Zipessa, Joe Bravo
Sentiero Italia, Joel Rosario
Lady Eli, Irad Ortiz, Jr.
Ryans Charm, Rafael Bejarano
Kitcat, Ulloa Perez
Queen’s Trust, Frankie Dettori
Pretty Perfect, Seamie Heffernan
Nuovo Record, Yutaka Take
