Reigning Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. I) champion Runhappy will attempt to stretch his speed to a mile when he faces a quality field in the $1,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I) on November 4th at Santa Anita.

The talented colt, who finished fourth in the Ack Ack Stakes (gr. III) in his only start so far this year, has been pre-entered only in the Dirt Mile and has not been cross-entered in the Sprint. His main opposition could come from Dortmund, who could start as the favorite in the Dirt Mile after finishing second to California Chrome in the Awesome Again Stakes (gr. I) earlier this month.
