2015 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint Post Positions

Judy the Beauty, who won the 2014 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I), will seek to defend her title in the 2015 Filly & Mare Sprint on October 31st at Keeneland, but after being beaten in all three of her starts this year, she may not start as the favorite.

That honor could fall to Cavorting, the talented three-year-old filly that has won three straight stakes races, including the Test Stakes (Gr. I) and Prioress Stakes (gr. II) at Saratoga. Other major contenders include La Verdad, who is 6-for-6 this year with four graded stakes victories; Taris, winner of the Rancho Bernardo Handicap (gr. III) in August at Del Mar; and 2014 Ballerina Stakes (gr. I) winner Artemis Agrotera, who has not raced since finishing seventh in the 2014 Filly & Mare Sprint.
